Talk on Open Science by Dr. Jon Tennant: Setting the default to “Open” for research
Among other things, Jon will share his thoughts on working as an ambassador for making research more open. What does it mean to make research more open and why is it important?
13.11.2019 kl. 13.00 - 15.00
He will also go into how you as a researcher can make your research more open, and how you can work to improve your research profile.
Jon holds a PhD degree in palaeontology from Imperial College London. He is founder of paleorXiv and Open Science MOOC, which is a peer community on Open Research Practices. Jon is currently a Visiting Fellow at SDU Library.
Professor MSO David Budtz Pedersen from the Department of Communication and Psychology at AAU will subsequently moderate discussion and questions.
We hope to see as many as possible.
