Based on a current and serious challenge for society, Nathalie Simone Kristensen and Mads Hyldgaard Henningsen, both studying at AAU, developed Tiptox – a startup that aims to make nightlife safer.
They partnered with Julie Simone Kristensen, a student at the Danish Academy of Business and Technology, to develop a simple but potentially life-changing technology that focuses on safety, responsibility and security in urban life. Their solution makes it possible to test drinks for traces of illegal substances directly on site to quickly detect and prevent incidents of drugging.
Tiptox is part of the AAU Startup Program where they received supervision and advice prior to the competition. The program helped support their journey from idea to reality and gave them access to valuable feedback and networking.
