After previous years' success with over 1,100 AAU participants at the DHL Relay Race in Aalborg and Copenhagen, AAU is participating in the DHL Relay Race 2025 and Vestkystløbet with campus in Esbjerg.
In Aalborg, the university has booked a large tent where there will be food and drinks for employees who participate in the relay. Here, the DHL Relay will be held at Dyrskuepladsen on Wednesday 27 August.
In Copenhagen, AAU is registered for the DHL Relay on Monday 25 August, and in Esbjerg, the university will participate in Vestkystløbet on Sunday 1 June.
A team at the DHL Relay Race consists of five people who run in turns or walk together. If you don't want to break a sweat yourself, the organizers encourage you to come and cheer, because the running route goes past the AAU tent, so you can have fun with your colleagues.
All employees who participate in the race will receive a pair of running shorts with the AAU logo, and the running shirt from 2023 will be reused. Therefore, only new participants who do not have an AAU running shirt need to order a t-shirt.
Registration
Each department appoints a contact person who is responsible for all class registrations on behalf of the individual unit. The contact person must register on the link here no later than Thursday 20 March.
The DHL coordinator of the departments will receive an email as soon as possible after March 30 with information on how to register for the race with a unique AAU log-in, how to order shorts in the webshop and other practical information.
Registration must be done through the local DHL coordinator and may not take place on DHL's own website.
