Aalborg University has made an agreement with Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service (DLVS) [Danish Doctors' Vaccination Service], so the university again this year is offering all staff members a free influenza vaccination.

- We want to give AAU staff members the opportunity to get through the winter without illness and poor health. A lot of people usually accepts this offer, and we would like to repeat the offer because it can benefit us all in the coming months, says University Director Søren Lind Christiansen.

The offer of an influenza vaccination is of course voluntary and applies to all staff members who have an AAU card with a staff number, including student assistants. The offer does not include relatives or students.

Vaccinations will take place on these dates at the following locations:

Aalborg:
	Rendsburggade 14, at the canteen	October 25, 2024, kl. 7.00 – 15.00
	Krogstræde 3, vat the canteen	October 30, 2024, kl. 8.00 – 12.00
Esbjerg:
	Niels Bohrs Vej 8, F114	October 29, 2024, kl. 8.45 – 9.45
	Niels Bohrs Vej 8, F114	November 6, 2024, kl. 12.00 – 13.30
Copenhagen:
	A. C. Meyers Vænge 15, 1.001	October 28, 2024, kl. 12.00 – 14.00
	A. C. Meyers Vænge 15, 1.001	October 29, 2024, kl. 9.00 – 11.00

How to get your free vaccine:

Staff members who would like to be vaccinated against influenza must do the following:

• Read about the vaccination and possible side effects here
• Book an appointment for vaccination here
• Bring your AAU card and yellow health insurance card to your appointment as the vaccination must be registered in your patient record.

Are the dates not good for you?

Staff who are unable to show up for a vaccination at AAU on one of the designated days can instead be vaccinated at one of DLVS's clinics around the country.
