Søren Lind Christiansen, University Director looks forward to working with Louise Puck.
"She has a strong eye for strategic communication and with her impressive managerial background is ready to lead the unit. I am certain that she can help both develop and implement the university's strategic communication initiatives in collaboration with the rest of the organization," says Søren Lind Christiansen, University Director.
For the past five years, Louise Puck has been Head of Communication and Fundraising at the Danish Society for Nature Conservation. She was previously employed by DR News where she was the editor-in-chief of Deadline and editorial director of Radioavisen and P1 Morgen.
To make AAU's voice even clearer
Louise Puck is delighted with her new position and emphasizes that Aalborg University distinguishes itself by being a modern, innovative university with a unique combination of research, knowledge and social responsibility.
"AAU's interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to concrete and complex problems has never been more relevant, and with its clear strategic direction, AAU can play an even more central role in society in the coming years. I’m really looking forward to helping to make AAU's voice even clearer and thus strengthen relations with decision-makers, partners and the public," says the new deputy director who starts on 12 August.
Louise Puck lives in Nørrebro in Copenhagen with her two daughters. In her spare time, she can be found either in the city or the summer cottage in Odsherred, preferably with a good stack of books.
